Third Annual Dentistry From the Heart another success! Saturday, February 13th, 2010 was our third annual event. Dentistry From the Heart is a day we set aside every February around Valentines Day to give back to the community. With the help of staff and many volunteers we were able to provide dental services for 90 people totaling $14,344.00 in donated dentistry! The staff at Brookview Dental wish to thank the following people:
Kingston of Sylvania- Dawn Ferguson, Denise McGee, Amy Peters, Kim Stoffel, and Shelly Montegue who provided hot beverages for our patients and a wonderful breakfast and lunch for our staff and other volunteers.
Henry Schein Dental- Tony Miskow and Erin Smith who donated dental supplies and equipment. Tony also donated his day to help us.
Mr. C.B. Brown made a cash donation-WOW!
Deputies Mike and Angie, both Lucas county auxillary deputies, handed out registration forms and organized our patients waiting outside.
John Campbell and Kathy of Boulevard Church of Christ provided seating for our lobby.
Dresch Dental Lab provided gifts for our patients.
Mr. Steve Israel-“Our Secret Weapon” spent the day with us in order to take pictures and video of the event.
